After the success of the unforgettable retreat in 2025 ( check out the video/testimonial below), I am delighted to offer another one at Sea Change Eco Resort in September 2027. It’s a not-for-profit adventure supporting whale conservation and in 2025 we donated to three charities.
Join me on the remote, beautiful island of Uoleva for a week to relax, unwind and spend time with the humpback whales. This is your chance to disconnect to reconnect, to yourself, each other and Nature though daily practices of yoga and breathwork as well as time on and in the water.
The time in Tonga will be 31st August to 9th September, with 1st September - 8th September spent at Sea Change (makes for less stressful domestic travel!). You have the option to stay longer in Tonga or arrive earlier as you book your own international flights. I take care of the rest.

One of the highlights of this retreat is the opportunity to swim with humpback whales. It’s hard to describe how this feels, so you will need to come and find out for yourself!

It is an an off-the-grid eco retreat providing unique beachfront accommodation with the lightest possible footprint in the outer islands of Ha’apai, Tonga.
To get there you fly to the main island of Tongatapu then a short flight to Ha’apai, and a boat ride. Sea Change is completely off the grid, with solar for power and treated rainwater for drinking.

Investment:
$5,695.00 NZD twin share accommodation in a wooden fale
$6,895.00 NZD single accommodation in a glamping tent
What is included:
7 Nights on Uoleva Island at Sea Change Eco Resort- see https://www.seachangetonga.com/accommodation for info on accommodation.
Transfer from Ha’Apai island airport to/from the resort.
1 whale watching (and hopefully swimming) trip of approx. 5hrs duration.
All meals at Sea Change Eco Resort, Uoleva
Two nights on Tongatapu island (one at the start and one at the end of the island experience) – this avoids the risk of the domestic airline being unreliable (it does happen!)
Return domestic flights to the Ha’Apai group from Tongatapu
What’s not included:
International flights to/from Tonga.
Travel insurance – you will need to get this prior to leaving.
Wifi, drinks, bar purchases any additional excursions/massages from Sea Change Eco Resort.
Drinks and food on Tongatapu Island for two nights.

Note:
Tonga is a remote Island Nation with limited infrastructure, making things a tad pricier than you might expect. It’s also a one-of-a-kind experience, there are very few places in the world you can spend time with the whales in this way.
This is a non-profit adventure, so I have tried to minimise costs by having shared accommodation.
Space is limited to 8 people including me to get the most out of this experience.
