These retreats give back, with some of the profits from each going to local conservation charities.

I believe that Yoga is all about connection, to oneself and to others. Yoga, for me has always uplifted me and enabled me to thrive and become more in flow with life, able to meet its challenges with greater ease.

I am a 500Hr RYT certified yoga teacher, having trained with Blissologist founder Eoin Finn. The style I primarily teach is Vinyasa Flow, which connects breath with movement to calm the nervous system, create body awareness and improve energy flow. It’s an awesome way to build strength and flexibility and reduce stress.

RENEW RETREAT TONGA

After the success of the unforgettable retreat in 2025 ( check out the video/testimonial below), I am delighted to offer another one at Sea Change Eco Resort in September 2027. It’s a not-for-profit adventure supporting whale conservation and in 2025 we donated to three charities.

Join me on the remote, beautiful island of Uoleva for a week to relax, unwind and spend time with the humpback whales. This is your chance to disconnect to reconnect, to yourself, each other and Nature though daily practices of yoga and breathwork as well as time on and in the water.

The time in Tonga will be 31st August to 9th September, with 1st September - 8th September spent at Sea Change (makes for less stressful domestic travel!). You have the option to stay longer in Tonga or arrive earlier as you book your own international flights. I take care of the rest.

It is an an off-the-grid eco retreat providing unique beachfront accommodation with the lightest possible footprint in the outer islands of Ha’apai, Tonga.

To get there you fly to the main island of Tongatapu then a short flight to Ha’apai, and a boat ride. Sea Change is completely off the grid, with solar for power and treated rainwater for drinking.

$5,695.00 NZD twin share accommodation in a wooden fale

$6,895.00 NZD single accommodation in a glamping tent

What is included:

• 7 Nights on Uoleva Island at Sea Change Eco Resort- see https://www.seachangetonga.com/accommodation for info on accommodation.

• Transfer from Ha’Apai island airport to/from the resort.

• 1 whale watching (and hopefully swimming) trip of approx. 5hrs duration.

• All meals at Sea Change Eco Resort, Uoleva

• Two nights on Tongatapu island (one at the start and one at the end of the island experience) – this avoids the risk of the domestic airline being unreliable (it does happen!)

• Return domestic flights to the Ha’Apai group from Tongatapu

What’s not included:

• International flights to/from Tonga.

• Travel insurance – you will need to get this prior to leaving.

Tonga is a remote Island Nation with limited infrastructure, making things a tad pricier than you might expect. It’s also a one-of-a-kind experience, there are very few places in the world you can spend time with the whales in this way.

This is a non-profit adventure, so I have tried to minimise costs by having shared accommodation.

Check-in is available from 3pm. Resort facilities are available to use from 1pm while waiting to check in to your room.

We will start the retreat at 11am with an opening circle and our first yoga session, be mindful of this when planning travel.

After this, you can use the resort facilities are available while waiting to check in to your room at 3pm.

Check-out is 10:30am on the Sunday but facilities can be used until 12pm on the day of check out.

A bit more about what to expect…

Each day you there will be an early-ish morning yoga session, and an afternoon yin yoga practice.

I will also run a wellness workshop.

Kimi Ora is surrounded by Nature and you will have plenty of time to explore and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

The Kaiteriiteri mountain bike park is close by, if you are feeling energetic, and it’s a short walk to the sea.

In the resort you will find all the facilities you need to relax and unwind. There is a hot tub and sauna, as well as a heated indoor pool and an unheated outdoor pool for the braver souls!

If you’d like a treatment at the Day Spa during your stay, this can be arranged directly with the team at Kimi Ora.

I love being out in Nature, it totally fills my cup, so I am keen to include a hike on Abel Tasman if people are keen, we are so close here!

• All yoga classes.

• 2 night’s accommodation and access to Kimi Ora guest facilities.

• Buffet breakfast and two course dinner each day (for lunches you can head to the local café or bring your own, as each unit has a kitchenette)

This day retreat is designed to nourish your body and soul, allowing you time to pause, rest and reset, in the beautiful surroundings of the Waimea Estuary.

Hosted at Sam’s home, you are invited to leave your worries (and maybe your phone) at the door as we connect to Nature, ourselves and each other throughout the day.

Jo will share a Hatha yoga practice outdoors (weather permitting!), and later in the day a relaxing Yin Yoga practice.

Your choice of one of these fabulous treatments is included in the day, provided by Sam, an experienced beauty therapist:

• Eyelash/eyebrow tint and tidy

• Mini facial

Warning - once Sam has worked her magic on your eyebrows its hard to go anywhere else!

A nourishing vegetarian lunch will be provided using vegetables and fruit from the garden where possible and non-alcoholic drinks will be freely available throughout the day.

There will be plenty of time to relax, enjoy your surroundings and maybe have a soak in the cedar hot tub.

These Terms and Conditions are an agreement between The Flow Company Ltd and you. By registering for or participating in this The Flow Co. Ltd Retreat/Event you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to these Terms. Terms may be modified at any time by posting a revised version on the The Flow Co. Ltd website here: Term and Conditions. By participating in the Retreat/Event, you agree to the latest version of these Terms.

1      Registration

To register for this Retreat, you must confirm in writing your wish to participate and pay a 50% deposit on receipt of confirmation from The Flow Co.

2      Payment

50% deposit payable on confirmation of booking.

50% balance payable 90 days prior to commencement

Note: If booking made within 90 days of commencement, payment in full required on confirmation of booking.

The Flow Co. Ltd reserves the right to cancel your registration without notice for failure to pay in accordance with these Terms. The Flow Co. Ltd is not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation.

3      Cancellation by You

Subject to law, if you cancel your booking, or fail or are unable to attend a booked retreat/event, we will retain the following cancellation fees:

Time before commencement date of retreat/event - Change and Cancellation Fee (% of full payment)

·         More than 60 days - 0%

·         60-30 days - 50%

·         Less than 30 days - 100%

4      Retreat Programme and Cancellation

The Retreat programme is subject to change. The Flow Co. Ltd may cancel the Retreat/Event at any time and may deny, limit or cancel a registration for the Retreat (including a confirmed registration) at any time. The Flow Co. Ltd is not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation. If The Flow Co. Ltd cancels the Retreat/Event or your registration, so long as you are in compliance with these Terms and any refund policy listed on the registration page for the Retreat, The Flow Co. Ltd will issue you a full refund of any Retreat registration fee that you have paid in accordance with these Terms.

5      Code of Conduct

You agree to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive environment while participating in the Retreat. You agree not to impact the Retreat or other individuals’ participation in the Retreat negatively by your behaviour.

6      Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that your attendance and participation in the Retreat is voluntary. You agree to assume the risks associated with attending and participating in the Retreat to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law. You will advise the organiser of any health and physical limitations or concerns ahead of the Retreat. You agree to hold the appropriate insurance for your travel and attendance at this Retreat.

7      Force Majeure

Our performance under these terms and conditions are subject to acts of god, war, government regulations, disaster, civil disorder, strike or other industrial dispute and any other circumstances which are beyond our reasonable control and which we deem (in our sole discretion) render the performance of our obligations uneconomic, impractical, impossible or illegal (‘Force Majeure Circumstance’). At any time during or after a Force Majeure Circumstance we may (in our sole discretion) elect to terminate this agreement by notice to you and refund any amounts paid by you, less our reasonable costs and expenses incurred in respect of your booking which we cannot reasonably recover.

8      Privacy

By booking with us you acknowledge that we will collect, use and disclose your personal information (including to our third-party service providers) as we reasonably require to provide the service to you, and for other reasons permitted under privacy laws (including direct marketing). Retreats will be documented in photos and content used on social media and in marketing and publicity material during and after retreats.

9      Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Zealand.
